Integrating Bioprotection (Biological) Products in Greenhouse, Cannabis and Hemp Markets

Approved for .5 CEU Credit in Integrated Pest Management; Approved for 1 CEU credit from CDPR

The biological market continues to grow with a fast adoption rate in North America. Even with the decline of crop plantings and economic uncertainty, biologicals stay at the forefront of growers’ minds. Chemistries are not as responsive as they once were and the adoption of true integrated crop management (IPM) continues to accelerate. For us at Marrone Bio Innovations, Inc. (MBI), IPM is one of the most important aspects we can lead is helping growers embrace sustainability. This spring we launched BioUnite, which lays out the pathway of harnessing the power of biology in combination with conventional chemistry. By adding these biological tools to our tank mixes we are able to make our traditional tools work again or work at a higher performance. This is crucial to the sustainability of agriculture while reducing overall environmental impact and producing crops in a way that adds value to growers.
