New Webinar on integrating bioprotection products in greenhouse, hemp, cannabis markets

Regalia CG is a biofungicide that turns on the plant’s defense genes that control against diseases like powdery mildew, Fusarium and Botrytis bud rot. Regalia CG also increases plant health, photosynthesis and marketable cannabis flower yield.

Venerate CG and Grandevo CG are both bioinsecticides derived from natural bacteria that when used in a weekly preventative spray rotation offer exceptional control of many cannabis insects.

ProFarm’s CG products are safe to use throughout the cannabis grow cycle, do not cause phytotoxicity to the flowers and pass all state testing requirements, including new heavy metal limits. Many cannabis growers use our products as the backbone of their Integrated Pest Management solution.

We used to treat reactively for high infestations but we have incorporated a full IPM program including your Venerate, Grandevo and Regalia CG products. We haven’t had any issues the last two cycles and our plants are healthy and thriving!

Instructions, Use Rates, Best Practices

With cannabis and other crops, there is flexibility in the rate between the range provided on the label. It is always important to remember to use the low rate when presence of aphids, thrips and mites are minimal as a preventative treatment and use the higher rate of the range during breakouts or any sign of powdery mildew (Regalia CG). And always follow label recommendations.

Strong return on investment: Decreased damage = Increased yields

Outstanding safety profile: No chemical residues

Regalia CG for plant health, botrytis, powdery mildew
Dip: Dip immediately prior to transplant. Solution of 1 tbsp/gal.
Drench: 1-2 tbsp/gal solution. 7 day intervals.
Foliar: 1.28 – 2.56 tbsp/gallon. Apply at 7 day intervals.

Grandevo CG for whitefly, russet mites, mealybug, thrips, aphids
Foliar: 0.62-1.85 tbsp/gal of water. Apply at 7 day intervals. Alternate with Venerate CG.

Venerate CG for whitefly, russet mites, mealybug, thrips, aphids
Foliar: 2-5 tbsp/gal of water. Apply at 7 day intervals. Alternate with Grandevo CG.
Drench: 2.5-5 tbsp/gal solution. 10–14 day intervals.

  • Biopesticides work best when mixed with water at a pH of between 6-8. Start application early and prior to infestation to be ahead of the situation.
  • Use a non-ionic surfactant that maintains a 6.0 – 8.0 pH (7.0 optimal). Complete coverage matters. Pests begin on leaf undersides, so higher pressure sprayers with finer droplets (100+ psi) can greatly improve pest management.
  • Tank mixing Regalia CG with Grandevo CG or Venerate CG can reduce labor. Alternating between Venerate CG and Grandevo CG helps. Always test a new mix of biopesticides and adjuvants on a few plants to assess the safety (phytotoxicity) of the mix. Evaluate the plants 48 hours after application.
  • Be proactive in your pest management. Along with maintaining a sanitary growing environment, keep your humidity at acceptable levels, remove plants and plant material that are a danger to other plants.
  • Always carefully inspect incoming plant material. Consider using an isolation area prior to intermingling with other plants as hitchhiking insects, mites and diseases may take some time to be apparent.
  • Weekly applications of insecticides and miticides are generally good for proactive management. However, if battling an outbreak of mites or insects, use the higher end rate and consider tightening up your spray program to every 4-5 days for two weeks so that you break the egg to egg-laying adult lifecycle.
  • Store biological products in a dry location between 35 and 90F.

  • Regalia CG 2-4 tbsp. per gallon of water applied at 2 gallons per 1,000 sq. ft.
  • Grandevo CG 1.40 – 4.19 tbsp. per gallon of water applied at 2 gallons per 1,000 sq. ft.
  • Venerate CG 2.5 – 5 tbsp. per gallon of water applied at 2 gallons per 1,000 sq. ft.
  • When pests are present, spray every 3rd day until control is achieved (normally within 7-10 days)
  • Spray on 5 to 7 day maintenance schedule for preventing new infestations
  • Regalia CG can be tank mixed with either Grandevo CG or Venerate CG
  • Do not tank mix Grandevo CG and Venerate CG together as there is no synergistic response and no benefit in doing so. Rotation of Grandevo CG and Venerate CG is recommended.
  • Tank mix Regalia CG at the 1 – 2 tbsp. rate with either Grandevo CG or Venerate CG for plant health benefits.

Regalia CG for plant health and disease control: Use 2-4 tbsp. per gallon of water applied at 2 gallons per 1,000 sq. ft. every 7 days if disease is present until plants are clean; then apply Regalia CG at 2 tbsp./gallon (per 1,000 sq. ft.) every 7 days for preventive maintenance.

  • Regalia CG. This product produces overall plant health benefits which makes the plant stronger to fight challenging diseases such as powdery mildew, Botrytis Bud Rot, Fusarium, and more.

Yes*

Venerate CG and Grandevo CG can be applied into the flowering stage and it is important to note that neither product contain live bacteria that can show up later during harvest when the commodity may be checked for microbial content. Both Grandevo CG and Venerate CG are exempt for having a tolerance for residues and have not been known to have any impact on the flowers and final commodity. This applies to Regalia CG as well.
Our products have been used in this industry since cannabis became legal in CO & WA. The last 3 years they have been used throughout the industry all the way up to harvest with companies taking the flowers grown to make concentrates & edibles. No issue has been reported about negatively effecting the flower in any way as far as smell, taste, smoke, etc . No residues in testing have come up either.

*In Illinois you cannot apply pesticide at the flowering stage.

Regalia CG for overall plant health and Powdery Mildew control

– For foliar use, apply 2-4 tbsp. /gallon, applied at 2 gallons (per 1,000 sq. ft.) every week (7 days)

Grandevo CG for early insect control
Use Grandevo CG as a foliar application at a rate of 2-4 tbsp./gallon (of water/1,000 sq. ft.)
Apply every 7-14 days unless heavy insect pressure is present. It is recommended to have the water pH between 6.0 to 8.0 for optimal effect.

Venerate CG for insect control
Use Venerate CG as a foliar application at a rate of 2-4 tbsp. /gallon (per 1,000 sq. ft.) weekly (7 days).
